This is a Wolf Decisions video that explains the 2018 movie "Rampage." It's in English.

 1. Rampage (2018) is a science fiction action film inspired by the cult video game of the same name. Directed by Brad Peyton, the film stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Davis Okoye, a primatologist who develops a close relationship with an albino gorilla named George. The story takes place after the disastrous genetic experiments of a company called Energyne. Experiments accidentally produce a pathogen that alters the organisms' genes, causing them to grow faster and become more aggressive.

The pathogen infects three animals: George, a wolf named Ralph, and an alligator named Lizzie. After coming into contact with the pathogen, these organisms undergo major changes, gaining remarkable abilities such as increased strength, speed and regenerative abilities. Their mutations cause carnage and destruction across America.

In response to the crisis, Dr. Davis Okoye teams up with Dr. Kate Caldwell, a geneticist involved in the development of the pathogen, who is determined to right her wrongs by stopping the angry animals. Together, they try to find a cure while fighting corporate efforts to cover up the incident and capitalize on the chaos that follows.

The climax of the film takes place in Chicago, where mutant animals gather. Military intervention proves insufficient against the creature, forcing Okoye and Caldwell to focus on giving George an antidote to restore him to health. In the final showdown, a living George helps Okoye defeat Ralph and Lizzie, saving the city. Rampage effectively combines monster movie elements with human-giant camaraderie while dealing with themes of corporate greed and scientific negligence. The film received mixed reviews, but was praised for its visual effects and Johnson's captivating performance.
